DESCRIPTION: I always liked Zam Wessel's character in Episode 2, though her role was short-lived, and I especially liked her in the spin-off game Bounty Hunter. On top of that, Mabari Armorweave was one of my favorite armors from Star Wars Galaxies. I was very excited to see that the guys at Obsidian modeled it into the game, but alas they didn't go all the way and actually include a skin of Zam's armor! So I figured I'd make the helmet and throw in a (mostly) properly colored skin of the Zeison Sha armor.
The armor stats are based on the descriptions of the armor I found, so I'm hoping you guys don't find them over the top. I wanted to give it some balance as a light armor, but also provide a bit more protection than the normal Zeison Sha armor so there was some incentive to use it. The stats are a combination of descriptions as well as the bonuses the armor had in SWG.
Mabari Armorweave:
-8 Defense
-5 Max Dexterity Bonus
-Stealth +5
-Electrical Immunity +25%
Mabari Armorweave Helmet:
-Electrical Immunity +5%
-Imunity: Stun, Fear, Horror
-Awareness +3
BUGS: As you can tell from the model name (i_MASK_078) the helmet is scrapped together out of what's supposed to be a mask model. As such, with certain models, there are hair clipping issues. This is most prominent on female models (like Mira, for instance), but if I made the helmet any bigger you'd feel like you had a super-sized pasta strainer on your head, so I compromised. It looks alright on most of the male models, however, and goes quite well with the armor skin in my opinion.
COMMENTS: Seriously, someone go to the forums and give me some suggestions...
