This skin was my first made completely from scratch (save the couple of exceptions noted in the read-me). It was for a skinning contest; the theme was heroes and villains. Obisidion’s backstory:
Obsidion was a troubled individual. As a young man, his dream was to be a hero, a savior. Thus he enrolled in Hero School. Unfortunately his outfit did not meet the dress code (apparently black is a poor color for a hero) and he was unwilling to compromise, and was quickly expelled. Down on his luck, Obsidion make a compromise with himself and quickly submitted an application for the nearest Villain School. He was accepted, but it did not take long for his professors to realize he was not cut out to be a villain, and thus he was politely set on fire and driven off the campus.
After dousing the flames, Obsidion vowed he would make a name for himself. Far too angry to reconsider being a hero, he proclaimed himself a super-villain, and villainous plots began to fill his head. When he realized villainous plots required funding, he quickly settled on being muscle-for-hire for the local villains. Thus we reach Obsidion’s present situation.

DESCRIPTION

This skin was made for the JKFiles April-May skinning contest. It is a reskin of the human merc model to be decked out in a black armor with cyan-colored lighting effects scattered across the suit. All texturing is from scratch EXCEPT: mouth/eye texture, and one itsy bitsy part of the head texture (only because I forgot about it, and by the time I finished it fit, so I left it alone). "From scratch" means I completely painted over the textures. These are not recolored or photosourced by any means.
