This lightsaber is designed for a fictional character I created named Kane. This character was a Sith apprentice that trained at the feet of the master of the Korriban Sith Academy, Master Uthar Wynn. Uthar rewarded him with the hilt for his superior lightsaber combat performance, but the man became disillusioned with the Sith shortly after and left the academy some time before Uthar was killed. It contains an engraving of part of the Sith code which the Sith masters hoped would remind their students of what the Sith stood for.
I have designed the hilt in such a fashion that it does not heavily rely on chrome effects, with the majority of the hilt being a dark matte metal with the engravings on it. The inset metal sections do shine, so fear not lovers of chrome. The on/off switch is in red, as is the blade. It is a Sith hilt, after all. It also restricted to dark side. If you don’t like that, feel free to whip out KotoR tool and remove that restriction.
The hilt itself is fairly high in detail and is more vertex-intensive than a typical hilt. If this is the only custom hilt you have it may overshadow the default game hilts which are rather… bland… so I encourage downloading other hilts as replacements or additions, to keep your game fresh and consistent. The hilt is available in-game for purchase on Korriban.
